Tharshini Sivadass is presently a Case Counsel at the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC). She handles and supervises the administration of ADR cases encompassing arbitration, adjudication, mediation and domain disputes. She is part of the AIAC Standard Form of Building Contracts Team and the AIAC Technology Expert Committee, which has allowed her the experience of drafting contracts by collaborating with experts in their field. Tharshini is presently a Co-Chair of the AIAC Young Practitioner’s Group (YPG) and a member of the Standards and Practice Committee of the Asian Domain Name Dispute Resolution Centre (ADNDRC). She is also an accredited mediator, certified by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) UK. Prior to joining the AIAC, Tharshini was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor in the High Court of Malaya (Malaysia) and has experience as a litigation practitioner in Malaysia
Gretchen Siow graduated with an LL.B (Honours) from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) and is now on his course in completing his LLM at the University of Malaya (UM). Prior to joining the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) as a case counsel, Gretchen assisted in construction matters involving arbitration and adjudication proceedings at Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill and was a legal intern at the International Committee of the Red Cross, whereby he assisted in stakeholder analysis on the ratification of the Arms Trade Treaty. As a case counsel, Gretchen manages the administration of international and domestic arbitration, adjudication, and mediation proceedings. Apart from case management, Gretchen is passionate about the formulation and running of various AIAC projects ranging from ADR conferences and knowledge dissemination workshops.
